Steiner Ranch Commercial Detention Pond
Commercial
The Steiner Ranch Commercial Detention Pond is a regional detention pond that TES is designing to serve as a compensating detention facility for a number of mixed-use commercial lots within the Steiner Ranch Development. This pond is located between Steiner Ranch Boulevard and Quinlan Park Road in the upper region of the watershed basin.
The project includes the hydrologic and hydraulic design of a regional detention pond along with some minor renovations to an existing water quality pond that is just upstream of the proposed pond. This maintenance will include the addition of an access road as well as the addition of a clay liner in and vegetative benches within the pond.
The project is set to begin construction in February 2010.
